PADDY HANNAN

In contrast to Henry Camfield, he is symbolic of the ebullience of the late 1890's and the discovery of Gold which really truly put Western Australia on the map.

Epitomizing the sense of determination to overcome all odds which enabled the ' barrowman' to conquer the hunger, thirst and weariness ahead on their 600km journey east to Kalgoorlie.

He demonstrates the qualities that were to epitomize the ' Aussie Battler'.

Bronze over-life size

Dedicated 1992
